With over 25 years of diverse experience as a lawyer, investment banker and senior executive, Peter has successfully blended a legal and commercial career across legal, financial services and funds management industries that brings unique perspective and experience to HPX Group.
Peter’s extensive expertise spans across mergers & acquisitions, corporate strategy, investment management and principal investments. Peter is a director of HPX Group and a member of the HPX Group Executive Leadership Team. Peter focuses on both organic and inorganic growth and developing strategic initiatives across the entire suite of HPX Group operated businesses.
Peter’s legal experience includes private practice experience at Mallesons Stephen Jacques in Sydney and Linklaters in London, as well as over four years as General Counsel at MA Financial Group (ASX.MAF). Peter was also an investment banker at Macquarie Group Limited (ASX.MQG) and MA Financial. During his time at MA Financial, Peter was also Group Company Secretary and a member of MA Financial’s Executive Committee, Investment Committee and Senior Executive Risk Review Committee (as Chair).
Peter is a non-executive director at Johns Lyng Group Limited (ASX.JLG) and a non-executive director at Calix Limited (ASX.CXL). Peter chairs the Risk and Compliance Committee at Johns Lyng Group and chairs the People, Culture and Nominations Committee at Calix.
